Chapter 1 walkthrough

Work through the attraction’s exhibits, then restore the Gift Shop power. The basement lock and the entrance keypad are different puzzles.

In this guide

Get through the entrance

Start with the roadside payphone. In reception, climb the rocks at the left-hand Allosaurus skeleton for one note half; search the base of the Brontosaurus skeleton on the right for the other. Combine them for the employees-only keypad. Inside, take the counter token to the theater entrance.

Power is not the same as playback

If nothing plays, revisit the player control first. Repeating the timing sequence is unnecessary when its indicators already show the completed state.

  1. Repair the theater power by completing the three timing inputs. Watch for the completed indicators before leaving the fuse interaction.
  2. Use the separate presentation/player control after the repair. Restoring the circuit does not start the presentation on its own.

Finish the exhibit interactions

Activate the three exhibit switches before the security-room main control. Take the telephone and headset beside the radio before continuing.

Cross the raised platforms above the electrified floor. The token reached through the pillar route buys the dinosaur flashlight before Dilo Dash. Beyond the blocked exit, climb the display box and ride a moving dinosaur dummy across. Take the loose button from the boxes, return to the meteor console and fit it. Activate the meteor and move through the opening it reveals.

Gift Shop: fuses, connections, controls

Follow Dalton’s recording and Stella’s conversation, then open the basement with 1903.

  1. Collect the three basement fuses and repair the ground-floor boxes.
  2. Reconnect the corresponding upper circuits.
  3. Operate the pillar controls to finish the lighting sequence.
Show the chapter’s escape direction

When Bronto blocks the exit, turn back toward the basement route. The next way forward leads into the excavation; the ruined front exit is not your escape.
