Dinosaurs & encounters: Bronto, Allo and the Hybrid

The principal creature trio is Brontosaurus, Allosaurus and a Dilophosaurus-human Hybrid. Survival depends on movement and finishing the local objective.

In this guide

Brontosaurus: finish the lights, then escape

In the Gift Shop, distinguish the fuse installation, upper connections and floodlight controls. When the front exit is destroyed, turn back into the basement escape route. Open the Gift Shop sequence.

The developer identifies the Brontosaurus’s size as the major challenge in implementing its roaming AI.

Allosaurus: keep the objective in view

The rail-cavern encounter requires four fuses in the central panel. Search the generator bench, low office, upper office and locked shed; the elevated cabinet holds the shed key. Use the four-stop route.

If the completed panel fails, check the Steam update: patch 1.0.9 addresses the second Allo hunt’s fuse handling.

Dilophosaurus-human Hybrid

The developer says this design began as a human–raptor concept, then changed to a Dilophosaurus-human creature. The crest and silhouette helped distinguish it from the other monsters.

For the late-game route, use Chapter 4. Its final escape stays behind a spoiler disclosure.

A route problem, not a damage race

There is no conventional combat system to build around. During a chase, identify the next landing; in an open hunt, identify the task you need to finish while avoiding the creature. Use quiet sections to inspect exits before committing to the next route.
