Dalton’s Dinos is a dinosaur attraction off Route 66 in New Mexico. Dalton Coolidge and his wife built it after a rare fossil discovery nearby. The public-facing exhibits are the beginning of the setting, not its full extent.

Who are Jordan and Stella?
Jordan is a college student travelling from Chicago toward Los Angeles before the fall semester. Their car fails near the attraction. Stella, a paleontologist and longtime colleague of Dalton and Elena, guides Jordan remotely while off-site.
Use the conversations as your anchor for the current objective. When you return to optional recordings later, compare what they reveal about the attraction’s past with what Jordan has learned on the main route.
Follow the route, then fill in the history
The central story is carried by the main route. Notes, audio recordings and environmental details add history and relationships. The developer specifically highlights recordings called Campfire and Birds vs. Dinosaurs.
For your own lore notes, separate what you directly heard from what you infer. Record the title and where you found a recording before trying to fit it into a timeline. That makes a second pass more useful than a list of disconnected theories, and it keeps you from needing the final plot reveal while still playing.
